Fear and empathy. Two words that have a lot to do with writing. Writing allows us to understand and therefore face our fears. When we write we give shape to our thoughts, we make them legible: they are no longer in the evanescent world of the mind but can be identified with a name, they are explored, we bring the light of understanding where there is darkness or confusion. Joss Whedon is a director, screenwriter, cartoonist, film producer; he wrote the screenplay for The Avengers, so to speak. He wrote and stated in an interview that one of the reasons why he writes is to explore what he is afraid of.
These words struck me. I think so too, it happens to me too: among the many tasks of writing there is also that, as we said, of exorcising Norway Phone Number fears because writing brings lucidity, clarity, I could say "it puts everything back in its place." I will talk about writing to overcome fear and create empathy on June 1st in Milan I will also talk about writing to overcome one's limits in my speech, at the conference on 1 June in Milan, Writing is living , on the stage of the OUT OFF Theater The Conference will be a great opportunity for learning as well as discussion for all the people who, in various fields, write. I will talk about how writing is a path of self-exploration and the fact that every professional should embark on a path of autobiographical writing.
Reviewing our own history helps us to better set goals, to investigate our talents and what represents personal and professional well-being for us. I'll talk about how to write to overcome fear and create empathy. There is also space for creative writing I am an editor and writer coach and I work on creative writing every day . I will talk about it at the " Writing is living" conference : what characteristics - professional and personal - should an author have today? How to improve your expressiveness? Where is writing going, how has it changed? But not only. I will try to give very practical indications and useful suggestions. Too many times we still read old writing: suffocated by adjectives and adverbs, incapable of finding new metaphors, new and more original ways of expression.
